IT WORKS!!!

These old radios work amazingly well considering how many parts are in them. One of the vacuum tubes (35Z5, far right) just converts the AC from the power cord to DC, so the radio itself works on only four tubes. This Crosley also picks up shortwave. The dial is marked "AMERICAN" and "OVERSEAS."
